Edwards Aerial is the leading drone mapping company in Central Texas. Using GPS coordinates, Ground Control Points, and connecting to satellites, our drones will fly over your project and take hundreds of photos to provide 2D and 3D Models of your site. Edwards Aerial provides drone mapping and modeling for the following applications:

Construction: Edwards Aerial collects and compiles Drone mapping data to create accurate, up-to-date maps of construction sites for use in project planning and management. The maps are also used to monitor progress, detect potential issues, and take measurements.

Measurements: The maps that Edwards Aerial provides can be used to measure soil stockpile volumes, take measurements, monitor excavation progress, and determine elevations. Edwards Aerial is not a licensed surveyor, so these measurements are for reference only and not to be interpreted as survey grade.

Agriculture: Our Drone mapping data is used to create maps of crops and fields, allowing farmers to monitor the health and growth of their crops and optimize their use of resources such as water and fertilizers.

Disaster response: When disaster strikes, our clients can use their maps and models to quickly and accurately assess the damage caused by natural disasters and plan for recovery and reconstruction efforts.

Edwards Aerial provides the following deliverables to our clients:

• Orthomosaics - these 2D maps can be used in AutoCAD or viewed as a picture. These have 15x the quality and resolution of a traditional satellite map like Google Maps.
• 3D Photogrammetry Models - these reference models can be used to pull volumetric measurements, determine elevations, and take distance and area measurements.
• Elevation Models - we produce an elevation model so that our clients can track site prep work and determine construction progress.

Edwards Aerial is not a licensed surveyor. Edwards Aerial does not interpret survey grade information. Edwards Aerial can provide data in coordination with a licensed surveyor, but our deliverables do not replace the need for a licensed surveyor in any state.  This is not exclusive to Edwards Aerial. Any drone operating company without a licensed surveyor on staff cannot legally interpret survey grade data.
